PANews reported on April 29 that according to govinfo.gov, U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno proposed the "2025 U.S. Blockchain Deployment Act" (S.1492) on April 10, which aims to require the Secretary of Commerce to support the United States' global leadership in blockchain technology deployment, application and competitiveness. The bill has been submitted to the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee for deliberation.
