PANews reported on May 24 that, according to Cailian Press, US President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu continued communication and coordination on issues such as the situation with Iran over the past day. According to Israeli sources, Trump reiterated to Netanyahu the necessity of stopping Iran's nuclear program and ensuring that Iran does not possess enriched uranium. Trump stated that the US will not sign any final agreement until these two conditions are met.
The US also briefed Israel on recent progress in negotiations with Iran regarding the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the drafting of related agreements. Netanyahu told Trump that Israel will continue to maintain its right to "take action against potential threats" on all fronts, including Lebanon, and expressed appreciation for Trump's efforts to ensure Israel's national security. The Israeli Prime Minister's Office has not yet responded to these reports.
