PANews, June 9th - According to Cailian Press, the market rebounded after a period of volatility, with the Shanghai Composite Index returning above 4000 points, the ChiNext Index rising nearly 4%, and the STAR Market 50 Index rising over 4%. The combined turnover of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges was 2.64 trillion yuan, a decrease of 152.4 billion yuan from the previous trading day. On the market, hot sectors rotated rapidly, with over 3300 stocks rising and over 100 hitting their daily limit. In terms of sectors, the semiconductor industry chain strengthened, with semiconductor equipment stocks being particularly active. Yaxiang Integration achieved two consecutive daily limit increases, while Xinlai Yingcai and Shenghui Integration also hit their daily limits. The analog chip concept fluctuated higher, with Jiewat hitting its 20cm daily limit. The semiconductor silicon wafer concept surged, with TCL Zhonghuan hitting its daily limit, and Xi'an Yicai and Shanghai Silicon Industry hitting their 20cm daily limit. The PCB concept repeatedly strengthened, with Jinan Guoji achieving two consecutive daily limit increases, and Shandong Fiberglass, Hongchang Electronics, and many other stocks hitting their daily limits. The MLCC concept became active again, with Lihexing hitting its 20cm daily limit, and Fenghua High-Tech, Shuangxing New Materials, and Boqian New Materials also hitting their daily limits. Optical fiber stocks surged in the afternoon, with Hengtong Optic-Electric and Yangtze Optical Fibre hitting their daily limit, and Taicheng Optoelectronics reaching its 20% daily limit. On the downside, oil and gas stocks fluctuated and corrected, with Tongyuan Petroleum, Qianneng Hengxin, and Zhongman Petroleum all declining. At the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.28%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 3.02%, and the ChiNext Index rose 3.93%.
