The vote to rename Toncoin to Gram passed with 81.22% in favor and will take effect on June 15.

PANews reported on June 9th that, according to an official TON announcement, The Open Network community voted with 81.22% in favor of renaming the native token from Toncoin to Gram, with the codename changing from TON to GRAM, effective June 15th at 20:00 (UTC+8). The chain name remains TON, and the token contract, balance, address, NFTs, Jettons, staking, and DeFi positions remain unchanged; only the name, codename, and logo have been updated. The official announcement emphasizes that this is a presentation layer renaming and there are no exchange, migration, or redemption processes. Any platform requesting users to "exchange TON for GRAM" or "redeem GRAM" is a scam. Wallets, browsers, and exchanges need to complete the front-end and trading pair renaming around June 15th and achieve consistent display by June 22nd.
