Singapore and Vietnam reach cooperation on strengthening capital market supervision and digital asset regulatory framework

PANews reported on March 12 that according to the official website of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced that it had reached an agreement with the Vietnam Securities Commission (SSC) today to work together to build capacity to protect the integrity and stability of the two countries' capital markets and promote connectivity between the two markets. The two institutions have agreed to cooperate in capacity building to support the development of Vietnam's digital asset regulatory framework. This letter of intent (LOI) will promote information sharing between the two sides on capital markets and digital asset regulatory frameworks, exchange experiences in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, as well as build capacity and share experiences and frameworks for capital market and digital asset regulation and supervision.
