South Korea's presidential election results passed, Lee Jae-myung officially inaugurated as president

PANews reported on June 4 that according to Yonhap News Agency, the vote counting for the 21st presidential election in South Korea has been completed. Lee Jae-myung, the candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, defeated Kim Moon-soo (41.15%), the candidate of the People's Power Party, with 49.42% of the votes and was officially elected as the new president. This election is the second time since the constitutional reform in 1987 that the president is absent. At 6 am on June 4, the South Korean Central Election Commission officially confirmed the election results, and Lee Jae-myung took office immediately without a handover period.
