PANews reported on March 18 that Gemini, a crypto exchange backed by the billionaire Winklevoss twins, has recently filed a confidential application for listing and appointed Dan Chen as chief financial officer, according to Bloomberg. Previously, Chen was in charge of capital markets and bank partnerships at fintech company Affirm Inc. Gemini's former chief financial officer Jared Shaw left in 2022. According to his LinkedIn profile, financial director Tyler Skelton left last May. Chen posted on the social network X: "I look forward to helping Gemini scale by driving financial strategy as the company enters its next growth phase."
Earlier on March 8, it was reported that Gemini had submitted an IPO application and was working with Goldman Sachs and Citigroup on the issuance .
