PANews reported on November 20 that the Nikkei 225 index closed up 1286.24 points, or 2.65%, at 49823.94. The South Korean KOSPI index closed up 75.36 points, or 1.92%, at 4004.87.
Japanese and South Korean stocks closed higher, driven by technology stocks.
