Goldman Sachs: The potential for blockchain to empower capital markets is becoming increasingly clear

PANews reported on September 14 that according to Zerohedge, Goldman Sachs trader Mark Wilson paid special attention to the development of tokenized securities in his market review this week. He pointed out that Galaxy Digital's stock tokenization was the first in the United States and said that "it is very certain that this is also the first in the world." The potential impact of this move on the capital market structure "may be significant."

Mark Wilson also said that combined with Nasdaq's investment in Gemini and BlackRock's intention to tokenize ETFs, the possibility of blockchain empowering the capital market is becoming increasingly clear, the possibility of traditional financial infrastructure migrating to blockchain is increasing, and tokenized securities are moving from proof-of-concept to mainstream application. The active participation of core Wall Street institutions will lay the foundation for the large-scale adoption of this technology.
