PANews reported on March 9 that according to Coindesk, Brazil's state-owned postal service company Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telégrafos has launched a pre-selection process to recruit companies and experts in the fields of blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) to develop solutions for its logistics and operations management. This tender aims to improve business processes, operational efficiency and internal supply management.
The group did not specify the use cases it was targeting, but blockchain technology has been widely used for supply chain tracking, document authentication and transaction security. The use of AI could be related to logistics optimization and enhanced data analysis.
