PANews reported on November 1 that according to Jinshi, the seasonally adjusted non-farm payrolls in the United States in October were 12,000, which was expected to be 113,000 and the previous value was 254,000. The unemployment rate in the United States in October was 4.1%, which was expected to be 4.1% and the previous value was 4.1%.

The number of non-farm payrolls in the United States cooled sharply in October, with 12,000 the smallest increase since December 2020. The U.S. unemployment rate remained unchanged in October.

In addition, the total number of nonfarm payrolls in August was revised down by 81,000 from 159,000 to 78,000, and the total number of nonfarm payrolls in September was revised down by 31,000 from 254,000 to 223,000. After these revisions, the total number of payrolls in August and September was 112,000 less than previously reported.
