Bitcoin mining company Genesis Digital Assets adds 50 megawatts of power capacity at its Texas mine to expand its Bitcoin mining operations

PANews reported on February 26 that according to Coindesk, Bitcoin mining company Genesis Digital Assets Limited (GDA) is expanding its Bitcoin mining operations in West Texas, adding 50 megawatts of power capacity at the Pyote and Vernon mines. The expansion includes adding two 20-megawatt buildings at the Pyote mine, bringing the total capacity of the mine to 195 megawatts; and adding a 10-megawatt container facility at the Vernon mine, bringing the total capacity of the mine to 70 megawatts. According to the GDA website, the Pyote mine can be expanded to 370 megawatts. GDA currently has a total power capacity of more than 600 megawatts worldwide and operates 20 data centers in Texas, South Carolina, Sweden, Argentina and other places.
