Lido: CSM rewards failed due to problems with the off-chain Oracle code, but there is no financial risk

PANews reported on November 24 that Lido posted on the X platform that the first CSM reward distribution was originally scheduled for November 22, but failed to proceed due to problems with the off-chain Oracle code.

1. No funds are at risk and reward calculations remain accurate.

2. The fix is being tested.

3. Once the issue is resolved through CSM Performance Oracle update, rewards will be issued.

Lido added that to ensure robustness, the CSM Performance Oracle implementation includes extensive security checks, one of which does not account for the situation where the reward framework starts before the CSM module is connected to the Staking Router. The fix for this issue has been identified and is currently being tested to ensure stability before deployment to the mainnet Oracle operators. The updated code is expected to be provided to Oracle operators early next week. Once 5 of the 9 Oracles have deployed the fix application, the report will be finalized and the rewards will be available for collection.
