PANews reported on December 15 that Fred Thiel, chairman and CEO of crypto mining company MARA Holdings, tweeted congratulations to MicroStrategy on being included in the Nasdaq 100 Index on December 13. In response, MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor said, "Thank you Fred, I expect MARA will be the next company to join the Nasdaq 100 Index."
