PANews reported on March 15 that according to an announcement by the U.S. Department of Justice, Brooklyn podcaster and cryptocurrency celebrity "TJ Stone" (Thomas John Sfraga) used the fictitious "Seinfeld" company to defraud individual real estate and cryptocurrency investors of more than $2 million. He was eventually sentenced to 45 months in prison in the Brooklyn Federal Court and confiscated $1,337,700. The amount of compensation will be determined later. Sfraga pleaded guilty to fraud charges in May 2024.
