PANews reported on January 29 that according to an analysis by crypto risk modeling company Gauntlet, Trump's meme coin TRUMP may have generated at least $11.4 million in expenses for entities related to the president since its launch before his inauguration.
Tarun Chitra, co-founder and CEO of Gauntlet, said in an interview that CIC Digital LLC and Fight Fight LLC earned fees by sending liquidity to the Meteora platform to support TRUMP transactions. Gauntlet tracks all fees collected from the TRUMP liquidity pool on Meteora, and most of the liquidity is provided by entities related to Trump.
Chitra said that TRUMP "basically generates about the same fees as the Meme coin during its heyday." It is worth mentioning that the actual fee income may be much higher, because a large amount of TRUMP was also quickly sent to exchanges such as Binance and OKX, but it is difficult to calculate the corresponding profit.
