PANews reported on November 22 that according to the Wall Street Journal, US President-elect Trump is considering appointing Scott Bessent to lead the National Economic Council. In addition, people familiar with the matter revealed that Trump is considering letting financier Kevin Warsh serve as Treasury Secretary and may nominate Warsh to succeed Powell as Fed Chairman after his term as Fed Chairman ends in 2026.
