Data: Cryptocurrency scams stole $3.6 billion in 2024

PANews reported on December 27 that according to the Cyvers Alerts system, in 2024, the cryptocurrency field "pig-killing" scams stole $3.6 billion, most of which occurred on Ethereum. The scams are cunning, using trust to trick victims into making fake cryptocurrency investments and then making their funds disappear. With cyber threats increasing by 40% this year, the cryptocurrency field needs stronger defenses and sharper awareness to fight back.
