PANews reported on March 12 that according to Cointelegraph, the crypto exchange Gemini is expanding its trading capabilities for European institutional clients by introducing support for US dollar payments. In its latest announcement, the company said that Gemini has partnered with Bank Frick in Liechtenstein to provide US dollar payment channels for institutional clients in the UK and Switzerland, and plans to expand US dollar support services for EU institutional clients in the coming weeks. The new features will also be available to Gemini institutional users in Gibraltar, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. For deposits, Gemini will use Bank Frick's instant transfer service xPulse, which the company noted will provide 24-hour fiat currency access services to institutional clients with Bank Frick bank accounts. Gemini's new features will be available directly on the platform through entities that have obtained electronic money institution (EMI) licenses.
