Polkadot Kusama network TPS surges to 82,171 in latest stress test

PANews reported on December 3rd that according to the Polkadot Chinese community official account, in the recent Kusama network stress test, TPS (transactions per second) reached an astonishing 82,171, and non-batch transaction TPS also reached 10,547, using only 15% of the network's core capacity. This test was jointly conducted by Parity and Amforc to explore the limits of the network under high load conditions. The test was conducted in two phases, including a full block simulation of the Kusama relay chain and a spammening activity. The final results showed that Kusama's performance far exceeded expectations. This achievement was achieved without enabling the JAM protocol.

Gavin, the founder of Polkadot, emphasized that although TPS is not the only criterion for evaluating the success of a project, this test has proved the technical strength of Polkadot to the outside world. At the same time, the team will continue to be committed to the Web3 ideal and provide users with long-term guarantees of decentralization and high performance.
