PANews reported on December 10 that according to Jinshi, the South Korean National Assembly passed a resolution on the 10th demanding the prompt arrest of President Yoon Seok-yeol. In addition, local time this afternoon (December 10), the South Korean National Assembly passed the "Permanent Special Prosecution Law" with 210 votes in favor, 63 votes against, and 14 abstentions, and will investigate the crimes of civil unrest and disruption of constitutional government involved in the "emergency martial law" launched by South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol late at night. The subjects of the investigation include South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol, former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun and other major "emergency martial law" personnel. South Korea's ruling party said today (December 10) that it will push President Yoon Seok-yeol to step down early next year and hold early general elections, but South Korea's opposition party said it will spare no effort to push for the impeachment of Yoon Seok-yeol and his resignation as soon as possible.
