PANews reported on January 20 that according to TechinAsia, Jio Platforms, an Indian mobile network operator owned by Asia's richest man Mukesh Ambani, launched JioCoin, a reward token developed based on the Polygon blockchain. Community users reported that the token has been integrated into JioSphere, Jio's web browser.
Earlier news, Indian telecom giant Jio partnered with Polygon to introduce Web3 for 450 million users .
