PANews reported on December 21 that according to News.bitcoin, two Southern California men, Gabriel Hay and Gavin Mayo, were accused of defrauding investors of more than $22 million through suspicious NFT projects. They allegedly used Vault of Gems, Faceless and Clout Coin to commit fraud and then disappeared. When a whistleblower exposed them, they allegedly harassed the whistleblower and his family. Now the two men face 20 years in prison for wire fraud and 5 years in prison for stalking.
