PANews reported on December 25 that Whale Alert monitoring showed that at 23:24 Beijing time, BTCTurk exchange transferred 23,285 ETH (about 80.75 million US dollars) to an unknown wallet.

BTCTurk officials later responded that the transfer was part of an exchange wallet optimization operation and was fully managed internally with no abnormalities.
