PANews reported on December 14 that according to a report by Jinshi citing Korean media, Korean National Police Agency Chief Cho Ji-ho and Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Chief Kim Bong-sik were formally detained on the evening of December 13. The Seoul Central District Court stated that Cho Ji-ho and Kim Bong-sik were likely to destroy evidence, so they issued a detention order.
