PANews reported on October 23 that André Dragosch, head of European research at Bitwise, wrote on the X platform: "According to Glassnode data, the total number of Bitcoin whale addresses has just reached its highest level since January 2021, and currently 1,678 addresses are automatically marked as whales (holding more than 1,000 BTC)."
