The number of initial jobless claims in the United States for the week ending December 21 was 219,000, lower than expected

PANews reported on December 26 that according to Jinshi, the number of initial unemployment claims in the United States for the week ending December 21 was 219,000, which was expected to be 224,000 and the previous value was 220,000. The number of continuing unemployment claims in the United States for the week ending December 14 was 1.91 million, which was expected to be 1.88 million and the previous value was revised from 1.874 million to 1.864 million.
