The Trump administration is reportedly pushing to issue a new $250 bill featuring his portrait.

PANews reported on May 28 that, according to The Washington Post, several officials appointed by the Trump administration pressured the Bureau of Printing and Engraving (BGI), which prints the US dollar, to design a new $250 bill featuring Trump's portrait and signature. This would make him the first living person to appear on US currency in over 150 years. Four current and former employees stated that officials provided drafts to BGI staff last August. A BGI printing supervisor who refused to cooperate was recently reassigned, stating in his farewell letter, "The responsibility ends with me."
