Hong Kong, 22 August 2019 — Amber Group announced the appointment of Jeffrey Wang as Managing Director and Head of Americas. In this capacity, Jeffrey will oversee the trading business operations in North America, with a focus on developing and expanding Amber’s clientcoverage and trading efforts in the region.

Mr. Wang previously served as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where he oversaw FX and Derivatives Trading in Asia, covering spot, vanilla, and exotic options across all G10 and emerging market currencies. He brings a wealth of experience to the firm from his past work in managing a leading trading business.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Wang held several roles at HSBC Markets, including as Primary market maker and risk-taker for the G10 exotic options franchise.
