PANews 5月8日消息，据官方消息，Cosmos Hub社区正对“Gaia v16软件升级”治理提案进行投票，并将于5月10日结束。此版本引入了以下新功能：ICA控制器子模块IBC、速率限制模块（具有890号提案中概述的初始速率限制）、IBC费用模块、ICS epochs（ICS v4.1.0的一部分）。在治理投票批准后，Gaia v16.0.0的相关二进制文件需要更新并提交到Cosmos Hub，更新过程大约需要两周时间。

此外，根据Upbit发布的支持Cosmos网络“Gaia v16”升级的公告，Upbit将于5月15日暂停该网络充提，并待网络升级稳定后恢复。
