Vitalik supports AI access schemes that use staking instead of identity.

PANews reported on February 11th that Vitalik Buterin commented on Davide Crapis's AI access solution of "using stake instead of identity," stating that this is the "right way" to make Ethereum an AI infrastructure. This solution advocates that users stake once and then initiate a large number of API calls, decoupling the calls from their real identities, with abuse being punished through staking. Vitalik pointed out that instead of simply adding a "skin" to a centralized API, technologies such as zero-knowledge privacy payments and reputation should be utilized to achieve stronger privacy and stake-based access control, thereby demonstrating the differentiated technological value of public blockchains in AI scenarios.
