PANews reported on February 25 that Kite, an AI-powered agent payment Layer 1 project, announced that it has officially joined the Google Agent Payments Protocol (AP2) as a community partner.

According to official information, Kite is now listed as an AP2 community partner along with over a hundred industry giants, including Mastercard, PayPal, Shopify, Adobe, Walmart, Accenture, and Cloudflare.

Kite stated that this collaboration is a significant milestone in its journey to build a trusted payment infrastructure for the smart agent economy, and the team will continue to dedicate itself to promoting the development of secure and trusted smart agent payment solutions.
