Paraguay strengthens tax regulations on cryptocurrencies, requiring the reporting of detailed information for each transaction.

PANews reported on March 12 that, according to CriptoNoticias, Paraguay's National Tax Authority issued Resolution 47/26, strengthening tax oversight of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. The new regulations require platforms and administrators to report every user transaction in detail, including sensitive data such as wallet addresses, networks used, and transaction hashes. The scope of regulation covers donations, inheritances, and NFTs exceeding $5,000 annually. This measure aims to bring digital assets into the national tax system while adhering to the Financial Action Task Force's anti-money laundering recommendations.
