The U.S. House of Representatives will hold a hearing on securities tokenization at 10:00 p.m. tonight.

PANews reported on March 25 that the U.S. House Financial Services Committee will hold a hearing on "Tokenization and the Future of Securities" on March 25, 2026 at 22:00 (UTC+8) to discuss the impact of securities tokenization on capital markets, investor protection, and the regulatory framework, and to consider a draft bill requiring the SEC and CFTC to study the tokenization market.

Witnesses included Kenneth Bentsen, President of SIFMA; Summer Mersinger, CEO of the Blockchain Association; Christian Sabella, Deputy General Counsel of DTCC; John Zecca, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer of Nasdaq; and Salman Banaei, General Counsel of Plume Network.
