Cheetah Exchange, a virtual asset trading platform under Futu Holdings, has officially opened for business and will be fully integrated with Futu Securities.

PANews reported on March 26 that Cheetah Exchange, a wholly-owned virtual asset trading platform under Futu Holdings, announced its full licensing and opening. It will be fully integrated with Futu Securities, the group's Hong Kong retail brokerage, providing core virtual asset trading matching, asset custody, and technical solutions support. With the deep integration of Cheetah Exchange and Futu Securities, the group will fully launch dual-compliant collaborative services combining traditional finance and Web3 within a licensed and compliant framework.

Cheetah Exchange is Hong Kong's first licensed and compliant virtual asset trading platform incubated by a securities firm. Furthermore, Futu plans, under regulatory guidance, to study incorporating virtual asset holdings into a unified purchasing power calculation system to further improve overall capital utilization efficiency.
