PANews reported on March 31 that Chaofan Shou, an intern researcher at Web3 security and analytics company FuzzLand, tweeted that the source code of Claude Code, an endpoint development tool from Anthropic , was suspected of being leaked through a map file in its npm registry. The related compressed file has been publicly downloaded. Users claim that someone has backed up the complete code and uploaded it to the GitHub repository " claude-code , " sharing information including numerous TODO comments and hints for undisclosed features. Currently, there is no evidence that the repository or compressed file is officially authorized by Anthropic , and Anthropic has not yet publicly responded to the suspected leak.
Claude Code's source code appears to have been leaked via npm and has been uploaded to GitHub.
