PANews reported on March 31 that, according to The Block , blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis has launched "blockchain intelligence agents" trained using its own historical investigative data. These agents are designed for law enforcement agencies, compliance teams, financial institutions, and crypto companies to automate the monitoring and investigation of illicit on-chain activities. The agents can operate in deterministic or exploratory modes, generating complete audit trails that record the data used, reasoning paths, and specific operations to meet compliance and judicial evidence requirements. Chainalysis claims its data has been deemed reliable and admissible by courts. Current test cases include tracking complex multi-chain investigation processes, intelligence gathering, risk warnings, and features such as automated report generation and simple web applications. The company plans to gradually roll out its technology to the market starting this summer.
