PANews reported on April 1st that, according to Jinshi, US officials have expressed concern about conducting indirect negotiations with Iran through third parties, believing that direct negotiations are more efficient. The official stated that while Pakistan is willing to assist in mediating the conflict, the US has reservations about using Islamabad as a negotiation location, primarily due to security risks. Furthermore, the official pointed out that previous mediation efforts through Oman have been ineffective.
