PANews reported on April 1st that, according to PeckShield statistics, 20 major cyberattacks occurred in the crypto space in March 2026, resulting in a total loss of $52 million, a 96% surge compared to February. Major attacks included: Resolv Labs suffered a loss of approximately $25 million due to an AWS KMS vulnerability that led to the unlimited issuance of 80 million USR tokens, triggering systemic bad debts in Morpho Blue, Euler, and Fluid; Venus suffered a combined on-chain and off-chain attack, leaving $2.18 million in bad debts; user Sillytuna suffered a loss of $24 million due to a dual physical and on-chain attack; and a Kraken user lost $18 million due to a targeted social engineering attack.
