PANews reported on April 5 that, according to Xinhua News Agency, the Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Coordination Group for International Fugitive Repatriation and Asset Recovery and Cross-border Corruption Governance held a meeting to launch Operation "Skynet 2026." This operation includes a special campaign led by the National Supervisory Commission to recover stolen assets overseas in cases of duty-related crimes; the Ministry of Public Security launching Operation "Fox Hunt"; the People's Bank of China, in conjunction with the Ministry of Public Security, conducting a special campaign to prevent and combat the transfer of illicit funds overseas through offshore companies and underground banks; and the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, together with the Ministry of Public Security and the National Immigration Administration, focusing on the management of positions held by officials whose spouses have emigrated abroad and addressing violations by public officials regarding private travel abroad.
