PANews reported on April 6 that in response to Anthropic's adjustment of its Claude subscription rules, which no longer covers third-party tool calls including OpenClaw and now require additional payment for such usage paths, OpenClaw issued a statement on the X platform stating that to avoid billing complexity, users can switch to API Keys or consider other subscription plans, including OpenAI Codex, Qwen, MiniMax, Kimi, and GLM.
