This source, familiar with the negotiation process, stated that they estimate it will take several days to finalize a ceasefire agreement, and Pakistani officials hope to persuade Vance to extend his stay in Pakistan to help facilitate this. Furthermore, a senior Gulf region source revealed that Iran has extremely low trust in US President Trump's special envoy, Witkov. Previously, Witkov had led several rounds of negotiations with Iran, but these were all interrupted by the US military strikes against Iran. Witkov is one of the members of the US delegation participating in the Islamabad negotiations.
