PANews reported on April 13th that, according to Arkham data, World Liberty Financial (WLFI) minted 25 million USD1 tokens through BitGo Custody and burned 3 million through the TokenGovernor contract, resulting in a net increase of 22 million USD1 tokens in circulation. This issuance size is consistent with its previously disclosed loan repayment amount. Previously, WLFI borrowed stablecoins from Dolomite using its governance tokens as collateral, causing the USD1 lending pool utilization rate to approach 100%, which temporarily affected users' normal withdrawals.
After repaying its $25 million loan, WLFI minted another equivalent of USD1, increasing the net circulating supply by 22 million coins.
