ZachXBT: Bitcoin Depot ATM has issues with unusual charges and security risks.

PANews reported on April 22 that crypto sleuth ZachXBT published an article on the X platform strongly advising users against using Bitcoin Depot ATMs. He pointed out that a recent scam victim in the US used a Bitcoin Depot ATM to exchange $25,000 of fiat currency for Bitcoin at a price of $108,000 per coin, while the market price at the time was only $75,000. The victim actually received only 0.232 Bitcoins (worth $17,500), overpaying approximately $7,500. ZachXBT also mentioned that Bitcoin Depot recently suffered a hacker attack that resulted in a loss of $3.26 million (54 Bitcoins), which went undetected for several days.
