Iran's foreign minister called for the establishment of a collective security mechanism "free from US interference."

PANews reported on April 26 that, according to Xinhua News Agency, Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi called on regional countries to establish a collective security mechanism "free from US interference." Speaking to Omani Sultan Haitham in Muscat, the capital of Oman, Araqchi stated that Iran's experience shows that the US military presence in regional countries only leads to instability and division. He urged regional countries to jointly build an independent collective security mechanism "free from US interference."
