A-shares closed higher: the STAR Market 50 Index rose 3.76%, with the semiconductor sector surging.

PANews, April 27th - According to Jinshi News, the three major A-share indices opened mixed today. The Shanghai Composite Index fluctuated higher during the session, while the STAR Market 50 Index rose by over 4% intraday. At the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.16%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.37%, the ChiNext Index fell 0.52%, and the STAR Market 50 Index rose 3.76%. The semiconductor sector led the gains, with Di'ao Microelectronics and Oulai New Materials both hitting their 20cm daily limit, and many other stocks such as Xinyuan Microelectronics, Fuchuang Precision, Fuhan Microelectronics, and Dongxin Shares rising by over 10%. The PCB sector fluctuated higher, with many stocks such as Jingwang Electronics, Tianjin Prin, and Guanghua Technology hitting their daily limit. The glass substrate sector strengthened, with Rainbow Shares and Woge Optoelectronics both hitting their daily limit. The helium concept surged and then retreated, with Shuifa Gas hitting its daily limit. In addition, tax refund shops, lottery, blade batteries, CPO, AI glasses, and apparel and home textiles were among the top gainers. Small metals, liquor, grain, photovoltaic equipment, and precious metals were among the weaker sectors during the day. The combined turnover of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges reached 2.59 trillion yuan, a decrease of approximately 52.4 billion yuan compared to the same period of the previous trading day; about 3,300 stocks rose and 2,100 stocks fell, with a net outflow of approximately 23 billion yuan from major funds.
