PANews reported on April 27 that Tether announced the release of the open-source Mining Development Kit ( MDK ), providing a unified infrastructure control layer for Bitcoin miners and developers. MDK employs a modular architecture and a "device capabilities + central orchestration layer" design, supporting the construction of monitoring, automation, and management tools through a JavaScript backend SDK and React UI component library, covering everything from home miners to gigawatt-scale mining farms. The framework is compatible with various hardware and vendors, runs on Windows , macOS , and Linux , and supports the expansion with new hardware and services, as well as the integration of automation and AI- optimized agents.
