PANews reported on April 28 that Amber International Holding Limited (NASDAQ: AMBR) announced that its Dubai subsidiary, Amber Premium FZE, has obtained a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from the Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) of Dubai. This VASP license authorizes Amber Premium to operate within the Emirate of Dubai and internationally, and, according to the VARA rulebook, to provide three regulated activities to global institutions and qualified investors: Virtual Asset (VA) brokerage services, Virtual Asset Management and Investment services, and Virtual Asset Lending services.
