PANews reported on May 3 that, according to official data, in the seven days ending April 30, Circle issued approximately 5.1 billion USDC and redeemed approximately 6 billion USDC, resulting in a decrease of approximately 900 million USDC in circulating supply. The total circulating supply of USDC is 77.1 billion, with reserves of approximately $77.4 billion, including approximately $47 billion from overnight reverse repurchase agreements; approximately $18.6 billion from Treasury bonds with maturities of less than three months; approximately $11.3 billion from systemically important institution deposits; and approximately $500 million from other bank deposits.
Over the past 7 days, the circulating supply of USDC has decreased by approximately 900 million coins, bringing the total circulating supply to 77.1 billion.
