The US crypto political action committee Fairshake has invested $7.2 million in five states to support candidates.

PANews reported on May 8th that, according to Cointelegraph, two affiliates of the crypto industry political action committee Fairshake spent $7.2 million this week supporting candidates in Georgia, Alabama, Nebraska, Kentucky, and Texas. Protect Progress PAC spent approximately $1.6 million supporting Democratic candidates Jasmine Clark for Georgia's 13th District and Christian Menefee for Texas's 18th District, and pledged $1.5 million to oppose incumbent Congressman Al Green's re-election.

Defend American Jobs PAC spent $5.6 million to support Buddy Carter and Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, Adrian Smith of Nebraska, and Senate candidates Katie Britt and Andy Barr. Barr received over $3.5 million in support; he voted for the GENIUS and CLARITY bills.
